A YELLOW JADE 'CHILONG' SWORD SLIDE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The rectangular slide is incurved at the ends and is carved in high relief with a chilong and a rectangular loop to the reverse. The stone is of a yellow-green tone with a russet inclusion forming the chilong's right foreleg and further small russet and white inclusions.
