    with flattened base, flaring sides, and terraced rim, painted in red and black over a chalky white slip, decorated with a spotted splayed frog in the basin, four smaller splayed frogs modelled in relief on the sides, the exterior with four stylized tadpole motifs, inscribed on the base, J.A.J., XZU-1223-PE, and 1929.144, among other marks
