A 33cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours in two directions, the ecliptic graduated in days fo the houses of the Zodiac with sigils, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and distance in nautical miles and submarine cable lines, the continents with some nation states outlined in pink, green and yellow, showing mountains, rivers, towns, cities, railway and telegraph lines (some areas of paint retouching) with stamped brass merdidian half-circle, raised on a baluster turned ebonised column and plinth base 60cm. high
