engraving, 1514, a very good, early Meder II impression, with good contrasts, particularly to the foreground, the horizontal scratch across the blade of the saw still evident, on laid paper without watermark (as usual with early impressions), trimmed inside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the engraved border (just touching at the upper right), small made-up areas at the lower left and the upper righ sheet corners, a short split at the lower right sheet edge, and a repaired tear at the lower left sheet edge, a foxmark upper right, two smaller ones upper left, remains of old adhesive and defects from the removal of a previous support verso, otherwise generally in good condition, framed
