woodcut, circa 1503, watermark possibly Plant with Long Stemmed Flower (M.110), a very good Meder b impression with pleasing gauffrage, after the Latin text edition of 1511, with narrow to thread margins outside the border, with two tiny rust-spots on the reverse, otherwise in very good condition
