Alphabetum sacerdotum. - Saint BONAVENTURA. De praeparatione ad missam. - Johannes de PECKHAM. Meditatio de SS. Sacramento altaris. [Paris]: Georg Mittelhus, [c.1496].
Chancery 8° (129 x 87mm). Gothic type, initial spaces with guide-letters, fine large printer's device on last page. 20th-century vellum-backed boards covered with a fragment of an early printed leaf.
Bibliographers old and new have treated the main works present here, the Alphabetum and the Bonaventura, as two editions. This is curious, because the title-page lists both works; the collation is continuous; and the type and lay-out is uniform. CIBN (Bonaventura only, B-637) dates it to c.1496 based on the state of the device at the end. H 865 & 3546; GW 1568 & 4682; BSB-Ink R-210 and B-663; NOT IN BMC OR GOFF.
