Of tapering panelled square shape, raised on four pierced foliate and rocaille feet, the sides with oval ribbon-tied cartouches, one with a gift inscription "To A.H. Moore 1st Jany 1855, by the Employees of the Chicago & Mississippi RR", the corners with repousse pendant flowers, the foliate scroll handle terminating in a swan head.
