Member of the Anti-Gallican Society, formed in London in 1745, sent a number of orders to China, primarily for punchbowls, but also for mugs and tea services. D.S. Howard (op. cit., vol. i, p. 487) illustrates this version of the arms on a tea service in the collection of Lady Charlotte Schreiber in the 1880's and then in the collection of Sir Algernon Tudor-Craig by 1927.
