An armorial footed oval bowl, Qianlong
of lobed form with two handles, painted and gilt to either end with arms bearing the motto 'Fit Via Vi' beneath a border of floral garlands -- 7 3/8in. (18.7cms) long.
The arms are of Campbell of Inverneill. See 'Chinese Armorial Porcelain', D.S Howard, p.619.
