Bought for Lady Elen Harmsworth (b. 1904) by her uncle, the first Viscount Rothermere, Harold Sidney Harmsworth, (1868-1940), in the 1920s. Thereafter given by Lady Harmsworth to her grand-daughter, the present vendor.
