An Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Turban Ornament
Designed as a lozenge-shaped portrait-miniature holder composed of a glazed compartment to the centre within a cascade of swirls set with circular-cut diamonds and calibré-cut emeralds, suspending four collet-set diamonds and carved emerald bead terminal within a diamond-set surround, and an emerald bead with diamond-set cap to either side, with detachable aigrette surmount and plume holder, the three stylised feathers each channel-set with calibré-cut emeralds terminating in either a cabochon or oval emeralds, and suspending two emerald beads with diamond-set caps circa 1925, height 13 cm.; numbered 9478
