AN ART NOUVEAU JADEITE AND ENAMEL PENDENT NECKLACE
The pendant designed as two carved jadeite plaques of translucent light green ground suffused with bright to intense emerald green splashes, both carved and pierced with a bat and coins, representing the rebus 'fu zai yan qian' or 'luck before your eyes', sliding open to reveal a seated buddha in meditation, enhanced by green and blue enamel and gold lotus flowers top, terminal and back with jadeite beads detail, to the link chain with carved jadeite spacers, mounted in gold, circa 1900, 57.0 cm long, pendant 6.7 cm long
