The line-inlaid architectural case with triangular pediment and waisted terminal, four glazed panels, with sliding removable front door, engine-turned ormolu bezel to the white enamel dial with painted Roman chapters, blued steel hands, the four pillar single-train weight-driven movement with rectangular plates, deadbeat escapement, with fine adjustment to the crutchpiece for the ebonised wood rod pendulum, swinging against a silvered beatscale on the backboard
