The above ball is the actual match ball used in the game between Everton and Arsenal on 16th March 1935 and was presented to Frank Moss after the game to commemorate his achievment in scoring one of his side's goals in a 2-0 win. During the match Moss dislocated his shoulder in the first-half and he left the field for treatment, with Eddie Hapgood going into goal. After the break Moss returned to the playing field at outside-left and after twenty-five minutes Drake ran down the right wing, crossed the ball and Moss drove the ball into the net. Thereafter, Moss again dislocated his shoulder on two occassions, each time returning to the field. He dislocated his shoulder once more and had to leave the field permanently, to great applause from the crowd.
