gilt dial with Roman numerals and inner Arabic 24-hour numerals, raised hour markers, engraved foliate decoration, associated gilt fusee movement (circa 1750) with verge escapement and alarm, pierced foliate alarm barrel and backplate furniture, later bell, pierced case, the front cover with a latch, the back decorated with a stylised vase of flowers, later silver metal pierced band, ring suspension loop, diameter 56mm.
