YONGLE PERIOD (1403-1425)

The elegant elongated shape formed of gently tapered sides, the wide rounded shoulder incised with four fruiting sprays to include pomegrante, lychee, peach and persimmon, above the mid-body with a continuous scroll growing large lotus blooms with smaller buds to the sides, the tapered foot decorated with four floral sprays, all within double-line borders, applied overall with a transparent glaze with exception of the base
