An early Victorian mahogany specimen cabinet with rectangular top above a pair of arched panelled doors enclosing two banks of specimen drawers, on plinth base with bun feet -- 39in. (99cm.) wide.
David Sharp, noted entymologist of mid 19th Century. This cabinet housed part of his extensive collection of beetles from the New Forest district.
