This chronometer was onboard the S.S. Theodor. In 1917 R.G.O. Records show it was with the Customs Service at King's Lynn, Norfolk.
In 1918 it was take on charge by the Royal Observaotry, Greenwich and remained on their books until May 1931 when it was sold.
In 1918 it was in service onboard H.M. Tug Saucey.
