    ROMAN PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST-2ND CENTURY A.D.
    Mold-made, depicting a couple standing on an integral plinth, the nude male figure dwarf-like in appearance, holding a vessel close to his chest in his right hand, his long phallus curving upward to the chest of the standing female figure, holding its tip with her left hand, clad in a garment knotted at her chest, her long black hair held in place by a banded fillet, preserving extensive pigment over gesso throughout
    6 in. (15.2 cm.) high
