Circa 1810, the dial signed CH. OUDIN ELEVE DE BRIGUET
Depicting Telemachus driving a horse driven chariot under the protection of Athena, the chariot issuing a lion is centred by a dial with a circular enamelled Roman Chapter ring, on a rectangular base mounted with Greek figures flanked by laurel wreaths, on clustered fasces legs
18in. (46cm.) high, 19½in. (49.5cm.) wide, 4¾in. (12cm.) deep
