    The rectangular white and grey marble top above a frieze drawer mounted with a central escutcheon of facing lions flanked by palmettes, above three drawers with engine-turned and flowerhead-cast pulls, the fore corners with snake-entwined caduceus, on breakfronted base with parcel-gilt and ebonized bronze paw-feet, inscribed N2 and SPEM Aubervilliers
