The working relationship between Patek Philippe & Co. and Tiffany & Co. began in 1854. This watch is an excellent example of this partnership, the fine enameling and diamonds, combined with the high grade movement is representitive of the quality acheived when two companies, both leaders in their field, join forces.
To the best of our knowledge, no more than three examples of this type of watch have appeared at auction. This watch differs from the previous examples in that the chain is set with diamonds and the case is within a floral and foliate surround, making this watch exceptionally rare if not unique.
