According to an attached paper label, this plate is 'Illustrated by Honey, English Pottery and Porcelain, pl. IVb'.
A paper label attached to this lot describes it as 'Liverpool.. by Zachariah Barnes'. However, Frank Britton, English Delftware in the Bristol Collection (1982), p.200, no. 12.62 attributes this type to Lambeth.
