The case with brass handle to a stepped top, inset fluted columns to the front door and glazed panels to the sides, the base with wavy apron, the silvered Roman and Arabic dial signed William Smith LONDON, with pierced and blued steel hands and strike/silent ring in the arch, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, strike and trip repeat on bell; and the wall bracket en suite; composite, case, dial and movement associated -- 50in. (127cm.) high overall to hilt of handle
