AN ENGLISH MONOGRAMMED BLACK-PRINTED CABBAGE-LEAF MOULDED JUG
With bearded mask spout and gilt monogram JB below, the neck and body printed with 'The Fox Hunt' and 'Kill', adapted from In Full Chase, a painting by James Seymour; together with a group of Worcester black printed wares after Robert Hancock, circa 1760-70, comprising: a cream-jug, with 'The Milkmaids'; a coffee-cup and a saucer with variant prints of ruins; and a baluster cup with wishbone handle and a saucer, printed in black with 'The Tea Party, No. 2', the reverse of the cup with a terraced garden, signed 'R. Hancock fecit'
