The treble-grip action-body with deeply-carved gold-plated percussion fences and arcaded detonating, toplever, rebounding sidelocks, the toplever finial carved in the shape of a mythical winged beast, the ornate carved hammers fashioned in the forms of sea dragons, with gold lizards, the lockplates, action-body and furniture profusely damascened in gold with the figures of hunting dogs, game-birds, rabbits, squirrels and mythical birds amid finely carved and engraved foliate- scrolls, with gold-encrusted flowers, fruit and foliage, the underside of the action-body gold-encrusted with the central motif of a trophy of hunting arms and the head of a hunting dog, the stock profusely carved with bold foliate-scrolls and the heads of a fox and a hunting dog, with the central carved Royal arms of the Spanish House of Castile, the forend carved and gold-encrusted en suite, the forend push-rod finely carved as the head of a deer, the stock with a gold-inlaid skeletal butt-plate, sling-swivels, the browned fluted twist barrels with extensive gold inlays at the breech and muzzle, with a carved median band and the gold-inlaid inscription 'General Francisco Cravioto'
