An extremely rare Merrythought Bingie Grenadier Guardsman
with golden mohair head and hands, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, white artifical-silk lined ears, orange and black glass eyes, swivel head, jointed limbs, brushed cotton body, original felt uniform with brass button, black mohair busby and rexine shoes --26in. (66cm.) high to top of busby, circa 1925 (balding around left eye and left hand, shoes repaired and other minor wear)

It is very rare to find these Bingies with their original cloths, the Bingie dressed bear range came as Cutie Bingie, Baby Bingie, Girl, Boy, Grenadier Guardsman, Sailor, Ski-Girl and Highlander.
