The gilt keyless lever movement, signed Cartier, Paris, 20-jewels with steel spring barrel, made unusually thin by employing a train incorporating an off center second wheel with intermediate to center post, engine turned silvered dial with arabic chapters, blued steel Breguet hands, within a plain platinum case, numbered 6199/4139, by Edouard Jaeger, with reeded band and engine turned bezel, the chain of oval wire links spaced at intervals by seed pearls, 1920's--50 mm. diam.
