Of hammered sheet, with a flaring curved neck-guard, the pointed cheek-guards perforated at the forward tips, with two large raised parallel ridges from front to back across the crown, each with two smaller raised ridges at their outer edges, a raised ridge around the perimeter with perforations around the edge, many preserving rivets, a single perforation centered at the front, perhaps for attachment of a crest, an ancient repair to the front above the perforation
