AN IRON-RED AND INCISED 'BIRTHDAY' PLATE, KANGXI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
the interior with incised 'anhua' decoration of two dragons amongst clouds surrounding a medallion with the characters 'hong fu qi tian', the rim enamelled in iron-red with the 'hundred' bats, Kangxi underglaze six-character mark to the base -- 7 5/8in. (19.5cm.) diam.
