modelled as a group of figures seated upon a caparisoned elephant, a central figure holding Kannon by her celestial scarf, flanked by boys in a sack, one seated holding a noh mask, the elephant with its head turned to its right, the trappings part inlaid in stained ivory and tortoiseshell -- 6 3/8in. (16cms) high, signed Touun on a stained ivory tablet to underside.
