Tiles belonging to this series can be identified in the decoration of the Topkapi Saray Palace, including the library of Ahmed I and the Hirka-i Saadet. A small number of related tiles have appeared on the art market. One of these, worked with identical borders, was sold at Sotheby's, London, 13 April 2000, lot 111. Two more examples are int he Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar (Carswell, John: Iznik - Pottery for the Ottoman Empire, Doha and London, 2003, no.16, pp.66-7). Further tiles with the same main design but different borders are also known in a Los Angeles Collection (Paquin, Gerard: "Çintamani", Hali 64, August 1992, pp.111 and 146) while another was sold at Sotheby's 17 October 1997, lot 49.
