An Ormolu quarter repeating carriage clock with alarm

The movement with Breguet's large gilt platform with in-line lever escapement with cut bimetallic compensated balance with parachute suspension, push quarter repeat and alarm on a bell on the plain backplate, hinged glazed door to the dial with silvered Roman chapter ring signed Breguet et Fils with Breguet's blued steel hands, central alarm hand adjusted by a small steel square to the right side of the door, recessed subsidiary seconds ring at XII, within a finely engine turned gilt mask with central winding hole, the architectural case with out-set angles to the plinth on bun feet and numbered in the centre No.4222, the main body of the case cast with berried laurel leaves with central rosettes, glazed sides, Roman pediment to the top with acroteria, the fluted handle cast with palmette leaves and with Greek key decoration, central glazed aperture flanked by a push repeat button and pull wind alarm; with original gilt double-ended winding key and red leather and gilt tooled travelling box.
