    The neck of the pear-shaped vase sharply curved to form the neck of the goose head, which is carved with two backswept feathers that flank the opening in the top of the neck, the body carved with a band of petal lappets above the ring foot and an archaistic band below scroll-filled blades at the base of the neck, the whitish stone with some dark brown areas and veining
