    AN UNUSUAL TURQUOISE-GLAZED BARREL-FORM JAR
    DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
    Decorated in relief on one side with a prunus branch set between a pair of lion-mask handles, with rows of small bosses applied to the raised bands above and below, covered overall in turquoise enamel except for the iron-red nianhao reserved on a white ground on the base
    5 in. (12.6 cm.) high
