Lot Essay

Andrée Simon, pupil and life-time-friend of André Lhôte came to abstraction in 1947 and participated in several group-exhibitions of the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris. Due to problems with her health, she left Paris in the late 1950s and settled in Gordes and became forgotten.
