PRESENTATION COPIES, each inscribed (in the year of publication) in ink on front flyleaf. Vol.2 inscription reads: "Mrs. Olivia B. Hall, Ann Arbor, Michigan, May the New Year bring added causes for happiness to her and her loved ones...& to all homes--is the wish of her affectionate friend & admirer Susan B. Anthony, Rochester, N.Y., Jan. 1, 1899."
