Lot Essay

This work is a collaboration between Saura and Jean Clarence Lambert. The text is by the latter and relates to his poem - 'Le concours de Blois'. It is executed on the reverse of a poster for a Sugaï exhibition at Galerie Creuzevault in November 1958.
The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Santiago Catala Rubio of the Fundación Saura, Cuenca, Spain
