Super-chancery 8° (148 x 102mm). Gothic type, shoulder notes, two initials in red over guide-letter, other initial spaces. Some deckle edges preserved. (Without blank A8, neat tear in top margin of one leaf.) 16th-century blindstamped calf with large criblé arabesque medallion on sides (joints and corners repaired). Provenance: contemporary annotations.
