[APOLLO 16]. A launch insurance cover with the Apollo 16 emblem cachet. Approx. 3.5 by 6.5 in., unaddressed, postmarked Kennedy Space Center, 16 April 1972. The cover was one of a set of covers signed by the crew and left with their families as insurance in case they did not return from the mission. [With:] Typed signed letter by Duke that allows the cover to be mounted between paragraphs describing the Apollo 16 mission and the cover.
