gilt finished movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two gongs by operated the slide in the band, cuvette with engraved inscription, gilt dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, case back with engine turning and ribbed decoration to the band, case with London hallmark for 1848 and maker's initals GH, diameter 39mm.
