2° (264 x 186mm.), 263 leaves (of 274, lacks title, a5 & 6 and the last gathering of 8 leaves), 49 lines and headline, double column, gothic letter, initials supplied in red, P3 & 4 repeated (first few leaves somewhat stained, one or two headlines shaved, some initials slightly oxidised, lower and fore-margins of O4 cut down, last page stained), 17th-century English calf (rebacked with original spine preserved, lacks clasps), in a folding cloth box. Provenance: Contemporary annotation; Thomas Musgrave, Archbishop of York, 1788-1860 (bookplate and book-label); Edward H. Nevinson (19th-century signature).
