Woodcut device on title (short repaired tear in A4, minor spotting). 17th-century vellum (spine repaired). First separate edition of the fourth century Ausonius' Griphus ternarii numeri, a little work on things that occur in threes, mostly in the classical world. The author is probably best known for his poem on the river Moselle. Adams A2293.
