MDCCXCIII. Venice: Heirs of Baglioni, 1793.
Three parts in one volume, small 8o (168 x 94 mm). (Some pale spotting.) Contemporary boards, cloth spine.
An apparently unrecorded bookseller's catalogue of an estimated 7,500 to 8,000 items, printed in very small type, each priced in Lire Soldi. It was issued by the heirs of the famous Baglioni family of printers and publishers active in Venice between 1598 and 1850 which had been raised to patrician rank in 1717 on payment of 100,000 Scudi. In his bibliography to his article on Tommaso Baglioni (in DBI) A. Cioni only mentions three catalogues issued by the Baglioni Heirs dated between 1824 and 1849. The Baglioni specialized in the printing and publishing of liturgical books, "rubro-nigni," i.e. books printed in red and black.
