PRICED THROUGHOUT in a contemporary hand; complete with the separately printed 12 page listing of prints. As Gabriel Martin states in the preface this catalogue was originally compiled for the private use of the collector; no date of sale is given which was to be announced by posters. The compiler also indicates that many of the books of this important library of 3706 lots are finely bound in calf or morocco, many of which by Luc-Antoine Boyet, one of the great French 17th-century binders.
