Engraved frontispiece portrait of Raphael, 3 engraved headpieces, 2 tailpieces and 4 initials, engraved arms of Innocent X, the dedicatee, on title (a little browning and spotting). Contemporary vellum, red morocco lettering piece on spine. Cicognara 3369.
MARINI, Giovanni Battista (1569-1625). La galeria...distinta in pitture & sculture. Venice: Ciotti, 1622. 12°. Engraved title (lacks the final blank, worming at beginning and end with very slight loss, top margins a little stained throughout). 19th-century sheep-backed boards (rubbed, short split in joints at foot of spine). Second edition, second issue.
