The gilt chain fusee movement with pierced cock and decorative pierced pillars, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and gold arrow-head hands, in plain inner and outer cases, the outer with engraved coat of arms of the Cope family, with heavy three stranded gold chain and magnificent gold seal with inset chalcedony stone also engraved with the coat of arms of the Cope family, opening to reveal two further chalcedony seals, one engraved with the initial H and the other with a griffin, with a key, movement signed
