BIBLE, in Greek -- Novum Jesu Christi D. N. Testamentum, [Paris:] Robert Estienne, 1550. 2°, 'grecs du roi' type, title with Estienne device, ruled in red, contemporary calf with central gilt arabesque, gilt edges (rather worn).
The third and most important Estienne edition of the Greek New Testament with a critical apparatus recording variant readings from 15 manuscripts, including the Codex Bezae. It marks the first use of all three fonts of 'grecs du roi'. Adams B1661; Schreiber 105.
