Titles printed in red and black, some chapter headings in first work printed in red, with 16 full-page woodcut illustrations and final leaf with woodcut device, full-page woodcut on last leaf of second work. (First work without the dedications to part V & VII as usual, small wormhole in last seven leaves of second work.) Contemporary blindstamped vellum over wooden boards, spine in compartments (slightly rubbed), clasps.

Widmanstädt. Printed in 1000 copies for distribution, this copy is the first issue with the Syriac title in red with vowel points in black.
