Engraved coat-of-arms of the dedicatee Conte Cesare Ventura on first leaf of text. 19th-century Viennese red straight-grain morocco gilt by Georg-Friedrich Krauss for Duke Albert of Sachsen-Teschen, covers with borders of small circles, floral and Greek meander rolls, spine in six compartments with Duke Albert's monogram in center, gilt-lettered green morocco label and green morocco onlays between bands, edges gilt. (faint scratch to upper cover). Provenance: Albert of Sachsen-Teschen, with Albertina press-ticket A62/P3/No.97. Albert was the founder of the Albertina in Vienna.
